Order Cancellation, Return, or Refund Policy

At Chhaya Prakashani Limited, we prioritize your satisfaction with our products. We take extreme care in processing your orders and ensure they reach you promptly. Our dedicated team employs the best packaging methods and partners with reliable courier services to guarantee safe delivery.

Once you place an order, we endeavour to deliver the product to you within 4 – 8 working days across West Bengal. If, however, you receive a defective or damaged book, or if the wrong book is delivered to you, we’re committed to promptly addressing the issue.

Cancellation Policy:

Once an order is successfully placed, it cannot be cancelled. If you wish to make any changes to your order before it’s shipped, please contact us at info.cpl@chhaya.co.in . If changes cannot be made, we will inform you of the same via written communication. Alternatively, you may place another order, and we will cancel and refund the faulty order accordingly.

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items:

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect book, we apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please inform us of the concern so that we can assist you accordingly. Upon receiving the defective, damaged, or wrong book, we will dispatch a replacement within 2-4 working days as per our standard delivery timeframe.

Return & Exchange Conditions & Instructions:

You can initiate a return only within 5 days of receiving your book.

When returning an item by post, we recommend using a registered mail service like Indian Post or DTDC, which offer insurance coverage for your shipment. Please note that the reimbursement for return shipping costs is capped at Rs 250, considering the book’s weight and the return distance. If you require further assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us.

To qualify for an exchange, ensure the item is returned in decent condition.

Refund Method:

For refunds on returned items, the amount will be credited to the original payment method used for the order. The reimbursement for sending back the book will be shared on the bank details provided by you.
